Care Support
We are always looking for active, reliable people with great work ethic to be part of our casual/on-call workforce. The work is varied, challenging and of value to our communities.
The Care Support role involves assisting with activities to support the well-being of our children and young people. Work can be based in a residential facility or elsewhere in the Auckland region. Duties may also include transporting, preparation of meals, engaging with youth through sporting or other activities, supporting staff from other agencies (residential staff) and general household duties. Your ability to engage with children and youth from a variety of cultures and your commitment to providing excellent service is essential.
You need to have safe professional boundaries. Experience in the youth/social services sector or engagement in study in this area would be useful. Hours would vary depending on demand. The service is 24/7 so your availability for night and weekend work is valuable.
You must have a full, clean driver license and reliable transport.
Successful applicants are required to have a Police and Oranga Tamariki check. We will provide induction training, supportive colleagues and a decent hourly rate.
