The Holiday Programme, developed by programme managers Jacob (Care Support) and Vili (Kaitiaki Residential), and was conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development (MSD). Running from January 13th to 31st, this initiative provided a safe and supportive environment for rangatahi to develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy new experiences.
A standout feature of the programme was the diverse range of activities available. Rangatahi engaged in:

• Boxing skills and fitness training
• Skateboard design workshops
• Squash
• High ropes at Adrenalin Forest
• Paintball
• Parakai hot springs and swimming pools
• Bowling
• Beach visits

Each activity offered rangatahi a chance to step out of their comfort zones, build resilience, make new connections with peers, and most importantly – enjoy themselves!
